Robert Bourke, Partner

Robert is the Wills and Probate partner in Holmes O'Malley Sexton. For over 20 years Robert has been drafting Wills and administering Estates on behalf of clients and their families. Robert is also a qualified tax consultant and is an Associate of the Institute of Taxation. His department has brought many Wills and Probate actions to the Circuit and High Court over disputed Wills and Administration of Estates. Robert is an active associate of STEP Ireland (Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners). Robert has guest lectured at third level institutions including universities and as a consultant to the Law Society.

John is a solicitor and joined the firm in 2006. 

John has been involved in the drafting of Wills and administering of Estates for the last ten years. He has considerable knowledged and experience in administering estates in a tax efficient and cost effective manner. He is also involved in the High Court in challenging Wills, section 117 applications and fatal injury claims.

William Donovan, Solicitor

William is a solicitor and joined the firm in April 2006. William specialises in all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions and probate, advising property developers and private clients. Recent transactions include the purchase, mortgage, and sale of residential and commercial property; residential and commercial leasing; ground rent applications; preparation and execution of wills; preparation and execution of enduring powers of attorney; extraction of grants of probate and letters of administration on the death of the owner of real estate or personal property and the distribution of the estate to the beneficiaries.

Proposed Charitable Donations Scheme (17.02.12)
The Minister for Finance, Mr. Michael Noonan T.D., announced on the 10th February the government’s intention to amend the tax reliefs that are available for donations to “approved bodies” in Budget 2013.
Rights of a Cohabitant (07.02.12)
The Civil Partnership and Certain Rights and Obligations of Cohabitants Act 2010 introduced the rights of a cohabitant in the event that their partner dies.
